Warcraft Lore 7: Night Elf Wisp Army Helps Save the World Tree at Mount Hyjal!
At the Battle of Mount Hyjal, Archimonde finally reaches his goal and begins to destroy the World Tree. The combined might of the Night Elves, Humans and Orcs succeeded in only delaying his approach. However, that is all they needed to do to give time for the druid Malfurion to awaken the wisps to defend the homeland! Epilogue spoken by Medivh.

Emerald Dream is more about Illidan. Cause The Emerald Dream is what coruppted illidan. He stayed into the dream too long.

Medivh is dead, buried outside his beloved tower Karazhan. tho he is like eternal but he has taken his place amongst the “legends of the past” so i doubt he will come back.

Wisps deal damage to summoned units (in the standard games) and Archimonde is a demon that they summoned.

Wisps deal damage to SUMMONED UNITS. And Kel’thuzad (or whoever. I don’t remember) summoned Archimonde. :3

that is because when Khadgar kills medivh, he basically kills Sargeras. the Spirit of medivh later returns to Azeroth to fulfill his destiny as Guardian and stand against the Burning Legion. he cannot, however, do that directly. he can only influence others

. but i don’t understand something : Medivh was pocessed by Sargeras during the 3rd war, why he helped the mortals of Azeroth to defend themselves agantist the Bruning Legion (Sargeras is the Main leader of the legion)

no the warcraft movie is gonna be focused on events that happened 3 years after the third war (1 year before WoW). Probably about how the horde and the alliance starts fighting again

i thought wisps could drain mana by sacrificing themselves, and, considering demons are virtually made of dark magic, when enough wisps imploded his magic dissipated and he died…
still, that arrogant bastard couldve killed all his enemies before walking up to the world tree on his own

I won’t lie, after going through all the ass pain of that battle to find out that all I had to do was make an army of wisps felt like a burning hot hammer to the balls.
Wisps probably just overloaded Archimonde’s mana, and Archimonde was probably so infused with magic, that it caused him to explode/implode.
Wisps = spirits btw. So once you make the sacrifice to blow urself up as a spirit, where do you go from there?
