I think it’s sad that Arthas died. He never really wanted to be evil, Frostmourne stole his soul and turned him into a heartless monster. When he died, I felt like a huge piece of Warcraft died with him.

@vullrath How can Bolvar become a slave of the Lich King? He IS the Lich King now. Or do you mean a slave of the Scourge or something?

Nope, I don’t think anyone is going back to the Frozen Throne, Cataclysm is about Deathwing’s return which tears across Azeroth and changes the whole land.

you do realize after cata expansion they will probably bring bolvar back as a mad driven slave of the lich king. and it will start all over with the undead. he forged a frostmourne once im sure there are duplicates or one being made by a minion. there will always be a wow. even if they go back in time or to explain the other races more. we still have ogre’s and many possible other races to play and explain history on.

It’s really kind of sad to see Arthas die, after Frostmorne was shattered he got his humanity back. At least he got to see his father one last time….

1st: Sylvannas is a she
2nd: she didnt attack the wrath gate, but her so called minion Varimathras the dreadlord did who made a bargain with the Burning legion (or so to speak) and thus Varimathras betrayed the horde.

Damnit! He took the sword to defeat Mal’Ganis and the sword kinda talked him to madness… He wasent him selfe after he killed mal’ ganis thats why he picked up the helm….

What he said made plenty of sense…have YOU played WC3? Arthas was trying to save his people, which drove him to hunting Mal’Ganis, which drove him to obtaining Frostmorne etc. etc.
Also, punctuations are a good thing.

wait. So Bolvar was burned by the dragons flame after Sylvannas attacked the wrath gate with his plauge. That i get. But does that mean that Bolvar is at the same time a Fire Elemental (of sorts) and a scourge?

@RyanEX2000 dude have you even played any warcraft games besides wow because i know you havent go back and play thru war 3 reign of chaos and frozen throne the expasion to war 3 and you will no a better story because what you said makes no fuckin sense

Parabolic clearly you have no idea what you’re talking about. Arthas already had status as the Prince. And he was also surprisingly well loved by the peasantry and soldiers because he treated them as equals.
This was his flaw. He loved his people so much that seeing them being killed drove him to extreme measures. If he had actually cared LESS he may never have become the Lich King.
